Freshly washed Pillowash pillow resting on a clean white bed in a bright airy bedroom

Clean sheets. Clean pillowcase. A pillow you've never washed.

So we made Pillowash. Same machine as your sheets. Same Sunday. Same fresh-out-of-the-dryer feeling — only this time, cover and core.

Where it started

It started with our own pillows.

A few of us did the math one weekend. Sheets, washed every week. Pillowcases, every few days. The pillows underneath them? Years old — and washed exactly never.

We weren't being gross. We were doing what everyone's taught to do with a pillow: use it a year or two, replace it, and try not to look too closely in between.

Every "washable" pillow we found had the same catch: washable in name only.

So we tried to wash them instead. That's where it fell apart — literally. The covers came off fine; the insides clumped, flattened, or stayed soggy for days.

So we stopped trying to fix a pillow and started over. One you can wash whole — cover and core — that comes out the same shape it went in. Hot enough to sanitize. Dry by morning.

We didn't set out to reinvent the pillow. We only wanted one we could keep clean — all the way through. That's how Pillowash started.

What we believe

Why isn't there a pillow you can wash — cover and core — and still sleep on tonight?

Why we built it

The case for a pillow you can actually wash.

How it works

Four things that make it washable.

Washable core

Most "washable" pillows mean one thing: wash the cover, toss the core when it smells. Pillowash means wash both — core and all.

The fill holds its shape through the rinse: the first cycle, and the fiftieth. You decide when to retire it. Not a care tag.

Clean-Deep™

Clean-Deep™ is our own technology. It's what lets you wash the core itself, not just the cover. Wash the core inside its inner cover at up to 60°C (140°F) for routine care or 80°C (176°F) for deep sanitizing (the Clean-Deep™ fiber structure tolerates up to 100°C / 212°F thermal stress without melting — never wash at boiling 100°C). And that heat does what cold water can't — it sanitizes, washing out the sweat, skin flakes, and dust mites a cold rinse leaves behind.

Most weeks, warm water is all you need; it's gentler on the pillow, so it lasts longer. Save the hot wash for a real deep clean.

Breath-Real™

Breath-Real™ is our own technology too, built right into the core. Thousands of tiny open channels let air flow straight through, so the pillow sleeps cool — flip it over at night and the other side is still cool.

Those same channels do the real work at wash time. Water runs deep through the core and rinses out the sweat and bacteria a surface wash leaves behind, then drains right back out — so the core dries in hours, not days.

Bounce that stays

The core springs back to shape, wet or dry — no flat spots, no clumping, cycle after cycle. Memory foam goes flat. Feathers clump. Sponge sags. This doesn't.

And every batch is fully inspected before it ships — seam strength, core bounce, breathability, dimensions, how it holds up after a wash. We check every one, so you don't have to.

Behind the scenes

The part most brands don't show you.

Where it's made. The real machines that build every Pillowash — not some mystery warehouse.

Pillowash production line

The line

Every pillow comes together right here, step by step, on our own production line.

Pillowash quality inspection - checking every pillow before shipping

Every one checked

Before any pillow ships, we check it — seams, bounce, breathability, size, and how it holds up after a wash. Every single one.

How we work

How we work.

We answer every email — the angry ones too.

When something's off, a real person writes back — usually the same day.

We'd rather tell you what it can't do than oversell what it can.

You just read this whole page without one "miracle." That's on purpose.

We'd rather lose a sale than ship one we're not sure about.

If a pillow doesn't pass our checks, it doesn't leave the building.

Every complaint goes into the next one — yours included.

If enough people flag the same thing, the next batch comes out better.

Clean sleep shouldn't be a luxury.

It should be laundry day.
